Let’s face it. EM is one of the most environmental friendly exploration technologies. It does not terrify marine mammals, it does not scare away fish and it does not pollute the sea.
We, at PetroMarker, tend to think that we have an even more friendly technology due to our modus operandi. Environment has become, and rightly so, the buzz word of the time. So we should all be proud to help improving known hydrocarbon reserves while sparing nature.
The EM community will meet again in Oslo after 4 years since last. Quite a lot happened in 4 years. Companies have come and go, new technologies have emerged while the oil industry has slowly come to understand better that strange animal which EM is.
EM is still a long way from being readily accepted in E&P processes.
So we hope that the CSEM conference will be an opportunity to strengthen our positions.
